Net worth report with account details showing securities with zero balance

When I run the built-in net worth report with the "Account detail" box checked, the report shows a bunch of securities that have a zero balance. I think it's showing me a line for every security the account ever held. Is there any way to make it not show all those zero-balance securities?

I am seeing the same in R60.15 and R60.20.

The default date range for reports (under Edit > Preferences > Reports and Graphs) is Yearly/Current year but the Net Worth report defaults to Include all dates. If I restrict the date range of the report to Yearly and Current year, the report should not include accounts or securities that have zero balances for that period.

The "Zero balance accounts" customization option appears to have no effect if the Account detail option is selected.
