No Account Gear button on expired Quicken

Since my Quicken expired a week ago, I no longer have the Account Gear button, so no way to make any changes to the account name or do any of the other things on that menu other than Reconcile. I think this is sneaky way Quicken has decided to make it harder to use Quicken after it has expired and I don't appreciate it. I will renew every few years, but as I don't use any online functions, I can;t afford to renew every year, especially since they have raised the price so much (with very few changes) Is this a bug, and if so, how can it be corrected since I can't update Quicken?

Thank you!

What feature level of Quicken Classic do you have? Starter Edition, Deluxe, Premier or Business & Personal?

Are you referring to the Actions Gear icon in the upper right hand corner of any banking account register?

What is your currently installed release number? (Click Help / About Quicken to get the R xx.xx number)

Looks like a bug to me.

You can get to the "Account Details" by right clicking on the account name in the Account Bar and selecting Edit/Delete Account.

As for getting it fixed, I would rate that "not likely" for the very reason that you can't get updates for an expired subscription.
