SMARI Survey email: Real or bogus?

I received an email from SMARI, apparently a legitimate marketing research company, titled "Quicken Customer Experience Survey - Amazon Incentive" telling me I've been selected to take a survey regarding my use of Quicken. The tickler is a $5 Amazon e-card if I do. In the email, it states that questions about its legitimacy should be directed to www.quicken.com/support. Well, definitely a broad topic URL to begin with, a bit disconcerting for a specific subject, I go there and search all over for SMARI and not a single reference comes up. So while all the URLs within the email appear okay, the fact that Quicken has zero information posted about this concerns me. Any others receive this email? Real or bogus?

It's a real survey. The messaging regarding it this time leaves something to be desired.

Some have felt that some of the information being asked for was too personal and/or identifiable. Others have expressed no concerns about that. If you feel that you are being asked to provide information about you that you do not wish to provide, then don't provide it. Some questions give you that opt out option but others do not. Even when they don't give you the option, you can simply disregard it.

At some point you will be asked to provide some personal information, like your email address. You need to provide that in order to get the $5 Amazon e-card so if you do not provide it you will not get that e-card.

Thanks Boatnmaniac. Yes, the messaging is not clear at all, especially since SMARI did refer to Quicken for checking on legitimacy, yet, Quicken has nothing posted about it. Lack of communication or what other, who knows.
