Quicken Business and Personal / Invoicing support for international client addresses (Q Mac)

So excited to be using the new invoicing functionality within Quicken Business and Personal. One bug to fix - you can't input non-US client addresses when setting up clients (all my clients are ex-US so this is unfortunate).

Any ETA on fixing this?

Otherwise, very impressed so far with how this product works for a small business with limited invoicing needs.

    Hello @D. Huey,

I'm sorry to hear you're encountering this issue. To better assist with this, please provide more information. Are you referring to mailing addresses, email addresses, or both? What happens when you try to enter a non-US address for a client? Which countries are you encountering this issue with?

I look forward to your response!

    Hi Kristina,

In Quicken Business and Personal, select the "Business" heading at the top of the main Quicken window, then select "Clients". Then create "New Client".

You'll note that the "Address" and "General" fields that pop up do not have a place for country.

    Thank you for your reply,

Thank you for clarifying the issue. I checked with our teams and they indicated that this is not a bug. Because this is not a bug, I have converted this discussion to an Idea post. Ideas that get enough votes may be implemented in the future!

In the meantime, when I tested in my Quicken, it looks like it doesn't stop you from putting the Country in on the Zip Code line. For example, I tested putting in a Japanese address, and received no errors when putting the address in. Then I created a new Invoice to see how it displayed.

    I hope this helps!

That must be a shortcoming of Q Canada, because just now I had no problem inputting my address from when I lived in Italy.

Note that I even got the Italian postal code in on the City line, where it belongs and nothing in the Zip Code field.

Now, Milano isn't technicallly the state (it isn't even the Province) but that's the way everything was addressed.

Thank you for your replies @NotACPA,

It's a limitation in Quicken for Mac.

When I check the Canadian version of Quicken for Windows, it has the Country line.

The address I tested with is not a personal address. It is a sample address that follows the correct format, but isn't anyone's actual personal or business address.

    Thank you!

Thanks for the temporary fix @Quicken Kristina - that'll do for now, I assume this is something that'll be added down the road. Appreciate you converting the feature request to a new idea, also appreciate the quick response!
