Does Quicken have report that would display Fund Fees/expense ration?

My advisor has me in a large number of funds. I have them downloaded to Quicken. Trying to determine if fees/expense ratio for the funds are available somewhere within Quicken to report on? Trying to avoid looking each fund up individually.

I already have my advisor AUM information available.

If not, other options where I could supply a list of funds and it would return the fee/expense info?

Thanks for any advice.

I don't believe that fund expenses are downloaded by Q … so the only place to get this would be from the fund companies themselves … unless your advisor can provide it.

Only exception MIGHT be if shares of the fund(s) are sold to pay the fees, but if the fees are internal to the funds then you're outta luck.

A good place to compare fees and other data on funds is Morningstar.com.

It is not too difficult to export your portfolio (but not transactions) to Morningstar so you don't have to type in all your holdings. Their full service with more analysis is $250 per year, but you can get a 7 day free trial.

Thanks for confirming this data isn't available in Quicken. I'll explore other ways to obtain it, likely use Morningstar…

Morningstar's 7 day freebie will get you exactly that. The next seven days.

The fund company's website can be referenced at MORE than seven days (basically, forever) and will be more accurate going forward because fund expenses change constantly.

AND, I'd bug your advisor for the info. You're paying them, RIGHT? Make them earn the fee!

BTW, my wife and I both (briefly) had "Professionally Managed" accounts. I dumped them because I was getting on my own 50% better results from my newsletter subscription that specializes in the fund company.

If yout funds are at Fidelity, send me a private message & I'll update you.

The 2024 returns on our Fidelity accounts (following 2 different portfolios) are both approx 25%. One a bit more, one a bit less.

And the non-profit for which I'm the Treasurer is invested in a more conservative portfolio that's up 16%.

ANNUAL newsletter subscription, that covers all of the above, is approx $300. How's that compare to your fees?

I agree if all your funds are from one company, you should be able to compare them easily at the company's website. The nice thing about Morningstar is that it makes it easy to compare funds with a consistent set of measures.

There is no report however, there are several places in Quicken you can get the info (One fund at a time and you probably need Quicken Premier or higher)

Go to the account with the funds, look at holdings, click on a fund and you should get Security Detail View (see pic)

Click on News and Analysis Button That should come up with details that include Expense Ratio (see pic)

Also you can do it from Security List

In addition, You can try alerts center and enable the Investment Option for Mutual Funds (Tools Menu/ Alerts Center/ Setup |Investing/ Mutual Funds) See Pic

This will give alerts when a fund expense ratio is higher than most in same category.
