Is it possible to manually add an existing security to a different existing investment account?

I have a portfolio under the Investor360 umbrella. It's made up of mine and my wife's IRAs (Roth and Regular) with a total of 5 accounts (one of my IRAs was split into two accounts with different managers). I cannot seem to get regular updates via the Update Accounts process, so I'm trying to manually correct these balances. One of my accounts, when it was initially downloaded from Investor360 was missing a couple of securities. I have this security in another account, as well. I cannot see how to add that security to the account where it's missing.

Last October, things were so messed up in the investment section of my Quicken that I deleted everything and set up a new link to Investor360. Other than the missing accounts, everything was working well, including updates, for a few weeks. Now, the Update process says it's connecting to Investor360 and that it has completed the update, but nothing changes within my accounts.

Should I just delete everything and start over -AGAIN? Is this a known issue?

I'm using Quicken Premier for Windows, version R60.20.

Are these accounts displaying in Complete mode, where you see a transaction list that looks similar to banking registers, or in Simple mode, where you see a dashboard with 4 large rectangles?

In Complete mode, you would normally click on Enter Transactions and select Buy - Shares bought to buy the shares To add the shares without affecting the cash balance, select Add - Shares added.

In Simple mode, click on the gear at the top right and select Update share balance. Since this is an existing security, it should appear in the Security to adjust list. If it is a new security, click on Add security at the bottom of the list.

The issue with the accounts not updating is a separate issue. Do you get any error messages when this happens?

Thank you for the quick response.

The display seems to be in Simple mode. How do I change it to Complete mode?

I get no errors when I do the Update. I'm thinking that somehow it's really not connected although it says it is.

To switch to Complete mode, click on the gear at the top right of the account and select Edit account details.

In Simple mode only a summary of your account information is downloaded, so you may have to enter the missing transactions if you want to reconstruct the details.

    Jim,

Thanks for your replies. I am unable to switch to Complete mode because (per the notice on my Edit Account Details screen) Investor360 doesn't support that right now. Looks like there are other issues with Investor360 connection. I hope they are addressed shortly.

    Thanks again.
