Exported PDF Reports Add Unnecessary lines

My exported PDF reports seem to be inserting a line every after every 6 rows of data. I do not want the lines to appear (alternate shading works just fine). Why is it there, and can I suppress the lines so they do not appear?

Regardless of the customization setting for "Alternate Row Color" (which produces the light blue background on every other transaction detail line), reports also produce a horizontal black line after every third transaction detail line. This horizontal line usually is too thin, too faint to be seen easily on the screen report preview, depending on your screen resolution. It also may or may not print on paper depending on the printer's resolution (300 dpi vs 1200 dpi does make a difference).
For your PDF file, I'm guessing that the resolution setting may also control if the horizontal line is printed every 3 lines or, as in your example, every 6 lines. In my testing I always get it after every 3rd line.

And, no, AFAIK, the horizontal line cannot be turned off. It's meant to be a visual aid, to help you track your eyes across lines in a report without needing to use a ruler or straight edge.

Personally, as much as I like the Alternate Row Color setting … when I have to print on paper, I don't like it. It uses way too much color ink / toner. I prefer a simple black and white report with a horizontal line after every 3 lines.

Please describe the process you're using to produce these reports … including the PDF driver (and release of it) that you're using.

Because I haven't seen such in my reports.

I think you are correct. Originally, I thought there was something other than a row count (i.e., duplicate description info, etc.) that caused the lines to be inserted. Nope—simply a row count (6 to be exact). Thank you for the feedback.

PS. I would like the option to turn it off since there is alternate line shading on the printout. Oh well..
