Can PR news downloaded with security price updates be disabled?

As the heading askes, can we disable these from downloading with the security price updates?

If not, can we prevent the news icon from appearing in holdings lists?

I'm just trying to avoid unnecessary (to me) clutter.

    I'm not aware of any way to disable the news downloads.
