Loan payments in a register format?

Good day all.

I have been tracking a couple loans, but I noticed that it doesn't let me adjust things like I would in a regular register for other bills. Is there a way to "activate" a register view for loans? Also, what is the category, Liability even though it shows, "Debts other than loans?" LOL. Some online answers show to use liability for even vehicles, yet Quicken has a category. Confusing.

The reason I ask is, that I make more than one payment a month, and since I do that, more "cash" goes towards the principle and unfortunately, I don't see a way to adjust that in Quicken.

Did you make the loans, or receive them?
Have you created them, individually, in Q?
Why did you use the "Other …" tab instead of the "Offline Accounts" tab, where LOANS is an option?

Also, when I set it up as a liability, I DO get the register, however, I get an asset and a debt????

I guess I set this up incorrectly. Any pointers?

Other loan I setup, actually looks like this, however the new one I just created, doesn't have this look. The problem with this look is I can't enter nor track monthly etc payments :(

I set it up this way as Quicken site shows this. That's why I'm really confused. I like the graph thing, and etc from that one display for mypersonal loan, however, this method doesn't show a register to actually track per payment, as well as split the payment correctly. Quicken calculates everything.
