Welcome to the wacky world of Quicken! 😁
Once you have entered a Rent Received transaction into the Rent Center you can't make changes to it using the Rent Center.
However, a Rent Received transaction is recorded in the checking account register which you have specified for the Tenant. That's either your checking account or, if you've set one up, an intermediate account register, Checks to Deposit. Look in the Edit Rental Property Tenant dialog to see the name of the account register you have selected.
Switch to this account register, locate the transaction and make the necessary changes (or delete the transaction altogether).
After saving the changes, go back to the Rent Center and it will reflect the changes you made.1

Hello @jobehe,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
If you don’t mind, could you please provide screenshots of what you described? If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments. Please remember to redact any personal information as needed.

Thanks to everyone for their prompt help! You all are the best. I followed UKR's directions and they worked perfectly, so problem resolved and I learned a lot as well. Wacky world indeed, lol.
