How can I get my Vanguard brokerage account cash settlement funds to display in Quicken?

I use Quicken Classic Starter for Mac 8.0.1
When I connect my Vanguard brokerage accounts, Quicken displays neither my cash settlement fund balances nor my cash settlement fund transactions.
Please help.

You are running QMac Starter? Does it even support investments?
QWin Starter does not support investments. Need to have at least Deluxe to get investments support.

QMac Starter supports investments, thankfully. I just can't figure out how to get it to display my Vanguard brokerage account settlement funds, in particular 😕

Interesting. I wonder when QMac Starter added support for investments. According to a discussion thread in 2021 (showing features comparison of the various QMac editions and including a post by a Quicken employee) QMac Starter does not support investments (click on the "Feb 21,2021" date to see the entire thread).:
My guess is Quicken did not add support to QMac Starter since they haven't been promoting Starter for several years, now, but that you got really lucky because I'm pretty sure you should not have it.
Or did you use to have Deluxe (or higher) and recently downgraded to Starter? If so, you would still be able to see your previously downloaded investments data but you would not be able to update it.

As you can see here, my Vanguard brokerage account is supported. It's just that I have all of the funds in a cash settlement account, and I can't figure out how to get Quicken to display it.

I am surprised that it even shows you this dashboard at all. You might have been able to add the account (not sure how that happened) but it did not download that cash settlement account so that is very telling right there because if QMac Starter supported investments that should have downloaded when you added the account in Quicken.
Have you tried to manually add it? My guess is you will not be able to do that. If you cannot do that, then it pretty much confirms that QMac Starter does not really support investment accounts.

What do you mean by "manually add it"?

I've about hit my knowledge limit regarding QMac. Perhaps a QMac person will pipe in here and provide some assistance on how to do that.
In the meantime, you might find Quicken Help for investing with Mac to be helpful:
