NYSaves 529 Account Setup STILL Not Working In Quicken Classic For Windows

This has been going on for years and is incredibly frustrating. CC-501 error. I call Quicken tech support for help and they say I have to set up third party aggregator access with NYSaves, or "request third party access". I have already done both, and tested the NYSaves login credentials in a browser and they work - I see the data. I call NYSaves again, they say Quicken doesn't have permission to connect or is blocked.
Community forum after forum after forum has people struggling with this. It NEVER gets fixed. Quicken doesn't own it, and NYSaves blocks Quicken for some unknown reason, maybe its "security" requirements? I don't care. Whatever the problem, it is not a big one as many other banks and brokerage firms and 529 plans all work.
Quicken needs to get their stuff together and do whatever NYSaves wants so connections for Quicken users work.

Hello @jojonono,
Thank you for coming to the Community to let us know you're encountering this issue. Do you have the ticket number from when you contacted Quicken Support? What is the exact error message you are seeing in Quicken when you attempt to connect? If possible, please post a screenshot of the error you are seeing (please redact any personal information). If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
What kind of account are you trying to connect? When I check our FIDIR (Financial Institutions Directory), it shows that Banking and Credit accounts are supported.
If you are trying to connect an account that is not considered one of those types, it would be an unsupported account type, which could cause the error you're seeing.
I look forward to your reply!

Disappointing that this issue never gets attention from Quicken. My kids will graduate from college before quicken gets this resolved - lol. Of my three kids, two are in college now and the last one applies next year.
NYSAVES is/has been included as a connected account when searching for a financial institution. Quicken prompts to use Inuit connect to access the data. Enter in the Aggregator username and password and you get a CC-501 error. I have tried my Aggregator username and password and can log in as expected, so its not my credentials.

Hello @bcbcmride,
Thank you for letting us know you're encountering this issue. To troubleshoot this issue, per our support article on CC-501 errors, in your Quicken program, please navigate to Help>Report a Problem and send a problem report with log files attached.
