FIND amount "greater" does not return all transactions

I thought this would be simple. Do a Quicken FIND on Amount greater than 400.00. It only returns maybe 1/4 of the qualifying transactions. What's going on? My version is the latest download available.

    Hello @Tominator,

Thank you for letting us know you're encountering this issue. To help troubleshoot, please provide more information. Was there any obvious pattern to the transactions it found vs the ones it did not? Was this a search limited to just one account or multiple accounts? Were all the transactions it found correct, or did it find some that were less than 400?

I look forward to your response!

Are you looking for deposits greater than 400.00
or are you looking for withdrawals greater than -400.00?

With the "greater than" selection, were you expecting to see "amount equals 400.00", too?

Using the Amount field is the issue. In that column, ONLY deposits will be greater than 0. Payments show as negative numbers and can't possibly be greater than $400.

SO if you want greater than Absolute $400, you'll need 2 searches. One for greater than $400 and another for Less than -$400

Well this is not intuitive. Now that you explain, I understand the logic.

Took me a while to figure it out also. And "Intuit" hasn't owned Q for about 6 or 7 years.
