American Express - delegate account won't connect for a week.

Hello… had this problem a year ago and re-tried same steps. No luck this time.

I have an American Express account that updates daily successfully.

I have a subset "delegate" American Express account that has stopped updating for a week now.

Steps tried:

For delegate account. Tried resetting account. That caused online account to be deactivated.

Then tried activating the delegate account. First from within the account's "online services" tab. Then from the main menu's Tools / "add an account" selection. In both cases a connection problem error was reported.

Then I tried de-activating and re-activating the main account, followed by re-doing the steps above for the delegate account. No luck.

This has gone on for a week. Help.

    Resolved by calling American Express.

They said "delegate" is no longer the correct Financial Inst for me to link to for this account. I don't know why, but it changed without notification.

From main menu, I added a new account, chose the main American Express financial institution (not the delegate one), then used the AmEx website login credentials of my additional cardholder. It all worked, allowing me to "link to existing" account in Quicken.
