When I run this report on my taxable brokerage account, I notice that the beginning and ending balance do not include my Tbills and my cash balance in this account. Any thoughts on why quicken handles it this way?

Note: the account is set up as an "Investment Account"

Thanks in advance!

I ran the report from the gear icon menu within the account. Based on your reply I tried running it from:

Reports > Investing > Investing activity and customizing to include just the one account. The beginning and ending balance was then correct and included all positions in the account.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

How are you accessing this report? Is it from the gear menu in the account, by running the report at Reports > Investing > Investing activity and customizing to include just the one account, or is it a report that you have previously customized and saved?

If you go to the account and click on Holdings, do the balances and holdings look correct?

That is odd that it did not work correctly when run from the account's gear menu. I tried it with a couple of data files and several accounts and the numbers are correct for me. If you run the report from the account's gear menu, click on the gear to customize it, and look at the Securities tab, are all securities in the account, including "No security (includes cash)" selected?

It appears that hidden securities are not selected by default in that version of the report.

Also please go to Help > About Quicken and let us know what version of Quicken you are running.

I'm running Quicken Classic Premier Version R61.17

I clicked on the gear icon while in the account to customize it, then Securities tab»»» and noticed that the default checked box was "Include only selected securities" not "include all securities". Once I checked "include all securities" the data/balances were correct. I then saved that report to "My Reports" so I'll have it in the future.

Again, thanks for pointing me in the right direction to noodle this out.
