Holdings show a mutual fund with 0 shares, 0 market value, how to get rid of it?

In one of my investment accounts, the holdings page includes one fund with no shares and no market value — and a negative cost basis. Since I sold this fund a while ago, I don't want it included in the Holdings (or in the Portfolio page). How can I get rid of it?

Hello @jdigital,
Thanks for reaching out.
Have you checked for any placeholder entries in your investment account that might be keeping the fund in your holdings? When you sold the fund, was the transaction recorded correctly with the full number of shares and an accurate cost basis? Does the fund appear in your transaction history with any lingering adjustments or incorrect entries? Have you tried entering a Remove Shares transaction to see if that clears it from your holdings? If the negative cost basis is the issue, have you considered manually adjusting it to zero? Are you downloading transactions from your financial institution, and if so, could the fund be reappearing due to incorrect or outdated downloaded data?
Let me know!

This may be the issue. Going back over the transaction history, it looks like there was an incorrect ShortSell for that fund.
Let me know if you have any suggestions on how to fix this.
I already tried Remove Shares, but that didn't do anything since Quicken already thinks I have no shares.
Thanks!

Have you tried changing the final Sale transaction to a "Sell All"? Sometimes there are tiny (less than 0.001) fractional shares that get left behind and that could result in what you're seeing.

When I do that, I get a warning saying "Recording a short transaction"0 -
Hi all, thank you for the suggestions, I believe I've solved the problem.
Quicken recorded the (short) Sale first, following by a ReinvDiv for the same fund. I changed the date of the ReinvDiv (to before the Sell) and then was able to change the final Sale transaction to Sell All.
