Hello.

In my cash account, I would like to see the totals for the Spend and Receive columns at the bottom of the register - NOT IN REPORTS - in the actual register. I thought I used to see this. I've searched all over the internet and tried solutions, but none work. Searching this community database did not show up this topic. How can I do this? Thank you.

    Let's go back a step.

Which, specific, reports? And, why do you not want to see the Total Spend and Total Receive in those reports?

Sorry if I wasn't clear, but I'm interested in seeing the column totals in the actual account register, at the bottom of the columns. I am not talking about seeing totals in reports. E.G. In my checking account register, which lists all of my transactions for that account, I can see balances totals, transaction totals, etc. on the bottom, but not a sum of the payments, and the sum of the deposits. I would like to just glance there and see it when I'm in the register and not have to do a report.

I thought I used to see that, but I guess I'm mistaken.

    Thanks.

There are filters at the top left of the account register. One of the filters allows you to select deposits or payments. You can use that filter to get the totals you are looking for.

    Thank you mshiggins,

That will get them one at a time, but not both at once. I have to set filter to "payment" to see that total, then change it to "deposit" to see the other. I don't see them both at once.

Guess it just can't be done.
