I find that it is safer to update using the Manual Patch Update rather than the incremental updates that are pushed out. When will this be included? I note that 61.17 was pushed out as a hot fix.
Hello @Roger Everson,
Great question! Since R61.17 was released as a hotfix, it may take some time before it’s included in the Manual Patch Update section. Typically, hotfixes are first pushed out incrementally, and once they’ve been fully vetted, they’re added to the manual patch downloads.
At this time, we don’t have an exact timeline for when R61.17 will be available as a manual patch, but I recommend keeping an eye on the Quicken for Windows Release Notes and the Manual Patch Update page for any updates. If we receive any new information, we’ll be sure to share it here in the Community.
Thanks for your patience, and let us know if you have any other questions!
Thanks for the response. I will watch the manual patch update page which currently shows Release R61.16. The Windows Release notes page last update was for Release 60.20 (Jan 2025)
And now I see a new hotfix
@Roger Everson Have you found anyplace where they tell you what's actually in that HF? I couldn't find that release (but I got a notice of it) on either the Release Notes or Manual Update pages.
R61.17 was posted on the manual patch download page for a couple of days perhaps and I downloaded it. Then it disappeared. So I never installed it thinking there may be an issue with it.
From inside Quicken…
You are very welcome! I have sent a request for the release notes page to be updated.
Thanks again!
