Is anyone having an issue downloading transactions from Charles Schwab website?

I know I have investing transactions on the Charles Schwab website, but they do not download into Quicken. I have tried deactivating the account and setting up again but no success. Any suggestions?

Hello @steveweaver48,
Thanks for reaching out with this issue.
Since you’ve already tried deactivating and reconnecting the account without success, let’s dig a little deeper. Are you seeing any error messages when you try to update? Also, are your banking or credit card transactions coming through fine, or is this issue only affecting your investment transactions? Sometimes, missing transactions can be due to a delay on the financial institution’s side or placeholder entries in Quicken preventing new data from syncing. Have you noticed any discrepancies in your account balances that might indicate missing transactions?
Let us know what you’re seeing, and we’ll figure out the next steps. Thanks for your patience!

There are no error messages, and it appears that the banking and credit card transactions are coming through fine. It seems the issue is only affecting investing transactions. And I don't see any placeholder entries or discrepancies in other account balances. Any other suggestions?
Thank you for your assistance.

At the Schwab site have you clicked Profile > Security Settings > Linked Apps and Websites > Expanded "Quicken" line item, and checked to see that all accounts are selected?

Yes, they are showing as linked.

If it's still not working, maybe try unchecking the investment accounts at Schwab, then coming back later and clicking them again?

Okay, last evening unchecked the investment accounts at Schwab and then this morning I went back in and checked them. Still having the same problem. Any other suggestions?

This seems to be a "local to you" problem of some sort as all my Quicken Accounts with Schwab are working fine and I don't recall seeing others with the same problem. That might be the result of some data file corruption.
If you create a new file and put only the Schwab Accounts in that file and find that all Accounts ARE downloading the would seem to confirm the data file corruption unless something really esoteric is going on.
You might try a File Validate & Repair, after making a backup. A slightly more rigorous process would be to first make a Quicken Copy of the file, then using the Copied file, do the Validate & Repair. This route does, however, require that you re-link ALL downloading Accounts in the file to their Financial Institutions.
If this doesn't work then I'd say it's time to contact Official Quicken Support by phone, allow for screen sharing, and see if the Quicken rep, working with you on your file, can come up with something that works.

I have had a similar problem for several months. Back to Nov 24. Have tried all of the sugested steps but no solution. have contacted Quickeh support and have been told there is a known problem and a "Team" is working on it with no estimate of solution. Try to download Schwab activivity every week. quicken goes through the normal process, no error codes but no data is down loaded. When I have deactivated and reactived one of my accounts the result is a message that 1000+ transactions are being downloaded but the data does not show up. Very frustrating

I got my problem fixed. I contacted Quicken Support and after trying all of the suggested steps again without success we decided to close the Schwab accounts and start all over. We setup each new Schwab account with a different name. Quicken then downloaded all transactions although several had placeholders which needed to be addressed. Once these were fixed, all is well. If you decide to try this workaround, please be sure to back up your data before proceeding. Let us know the outcome.
