seeing phantom transactions in the calendar view

I have set up some saving goal transfers and started noticing that one transaction seems to be showing double in the calendar view. It is not really double when looking at the manage bill and income list. I delete one they both disapear and when I re add, i see only one but then I see another one is now doubled. Anyone else see this?

Hello @danst,
Thank you for letting us know you're running into this problem. To help troubleshoot, please provide more information. When did you first notice this issue? Does it happen only with saving goal transactions? You mentioned that only one transaction seems to be duplicating. Is there anything unique about this one transaction? If possible, please provide a screenshot of what you're seeing (with any personal information removed). If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
I look forward to your reply!

this is happening on only 1 transaction at a time. If I delete that transaction (future transaction) and re-add it it will no longer be duplicated but another one will start being duplicated and the future entries for that other transactions are doubled. I started noticing this a week or so ago but cannot say if it was there prior to the last few updates (I don't remember noticing). I am attaching image of the current transaction that shows it is doubled.

Thank you for your reply,
I'm not able to replicate what you're seeing. When did you first notice this happening? What kind of transactions are affected? Is this happening with reminders that haven't been entered into the register, transactions that are already in the register, or both? Do you keep your Quicken file on your local hard drive? You can see the file location in your Quicken by going to File, and looking just above Exit. It will list the 4 Quicken files you most recently accessed, with the one you're currently in listed in the #1 spot.
Thank you!

my quicken file is on my hard drive. when i process the reminder both dissapear and only one transaction goes to the register but the next reminders still show up as doubled. It is happening only on one reminder (that i can see) and if i delete and re-enter the transaction, it does the same thing on another random reminder. I have had this Quicken file for a long time. some transactions in my registers go back to 2004. My quicken backup shows it is over 200 megs.

Thank you for your reply,
You mentioned that if you delete/recreate the current problem reminder, then the issue pops back up with another random reminder. Is there any pattern to what reminders are affected? For instance, you specifically mentioned savings goals. Are the impacted reminders thus far all somehow related to savings goals in any way? Did this issue start when you made a change to a savings goal or an account associated with a savings goal?
Thank you!

it looks like it is always related to saving goals but not only to one account. I have re-used saving goals accounts that were related to other bank accounts for new accounts but when I have amounts in the saving goals it is always related to a single account. The current transaction that is duplicated was always related to a single bank account. the duplicated transaction is ONLY in the Calendar view, nowhere else but this is the view that shows me the future view of the account balance and so is important to me. The manage bill and income view shows only one (see attachment)

Thank you for your reply,
Since the duplication seems to always be related to savings goals, please make a backup of your Quicken file, then try deleting and recreating the savings goals associated with these duplicate transactions.
Please let me know how it goes!
