Subscription Status Is Incorrect

My windows subscription auto renewed on 02/22/25 but when I select about Quicken it shows Expired on February 22, 2025. Beyond this being incorrect I don't get any other notification that my subscription has expired.

1 - My user id in Quicken and my online account are the same.
2 - Subscription status on my online account reflects 02/22/2026 which is correct.
3 - I was able to update Quicken today without issue.
4 - Credit card payment has cleared.

I don't believe this has happened before or at least I've never noticed before. Is this a timing issue or is there a fix for this situation?

Thanks

When you say you updated Q, was that a data update, or a program update?

And, since either update means that you're still able to update something, I suspect it's just a timing issue. Have you closed Q and re-opened it since that transaction?

    Hello @Dom1,

I checked our internal system, and I can confirm that your subscription is active and was successfully renewed through 02/22/2026. It looks like Quicken may just need to refresh your account status. You can follow the instructions below, it is recommended to save a backup (just in case). You can also review this FAQ that provides these troubleshooting steps and more information.

    1. Navigate to Edit
    2. Preferences...
    3. Quicken ID & Cloud accounts
    4. Click Sign in as a different user (or it might say Sign in using a different Quicken ID)
    5. Follow the prompts to Sign Out
    6. Sign back in using your Quicken ID (email) and password

Let me know how it goes!

    Hi Jasmine,

I read the notes associated with this. I don't use mobile or use Quicken cloud or bill pay. I do however use auto update for a number of accounts - credit cards, bank transactions, fund quotes. Will these items continue to work after following this logout/login option?

Yep, closed and re-opened, everything working fine aside from the message.

Thanks for asking! Yes, signing out/in should not affect your data, accounts, connections, etc. in any way!

    Hope this clears things up!

    Thanks Jasmine!

That fixed the subscription expiration date and everything is working and balances are A-OK.
