Direct Connect and QFX download interactions

Given that Vanguard Direct Connect is not working, one suggested work around was to download and import QFX files. What happens when Direct Connect starts working again? Will I end up with duplicate transactions?


I have the same question for manually adding transactions. Will I end up with duplicates once Direct Connect works?

    The restarted DC downloads SHOULD match to the manually entered transactions, but you need to be vigilant to make sure that happens.

    With the .QFX file imports, you will get duplicates downloaded, but if you don't have auto-enter of downloads turned on, you will be able to delete them from the Downloaded Transactions tab rather than accepting them.
