REPORTS

HI, I chose the CASH FLOW report to see my inflow/spending 2024.

CASH FLOW is the right one for these results?

I am surprised that in the "inflow "category, there is a total of REMODELING KITCHEN with a minus sign.

I thought this REMODELING would be in OUTFLOW category together with all our SPENDING!

IS THERE SOMETHING THAT I MADE A MISTAKE?

Thanks, Ileana

Double check the "Remodeling Kitchen" category to make sure it was set up as an Expense. Open the Categories window, scroll down to "Remodeling Kitchen" and check the Type column. If it's Income, you can double-click on it to change the type to Expense.

Expenses should have minus signs in that report, so it is seeing the spending for the kitchen project as a "negative inflow", which is an outflow. As @Jon wrote, the category is showing up under Inflows is because the category is set up as Income rather than Expense; changing that button will move it down to Outflows portion of the report.

YES! You both are right! I find the category type and it was as "income"!
Because of Your explanation, I was able to change to "the expense"

    Thank You, Ileana
