How to turn off write a check task alert in an investment account?

I can't seem to find a way to turn off check writing task alerts or options. I went into Preferences-Alerts & Messages-Reset Quicken Warnings. No popup window came up to not see again. No success. Then went into Tools-Alerts-turned off some of the alerts. Still no success. Any help appreciated.

Is that account taxable, or not? If non-taxable, how do you record cash txn in the account?
And, are you actually trying to write checks on the account? What actions is causing this Alert to happen?

All very good questions! It's a Roth IRA. And no, I don't write checks for any account I have. I see a task alert icon next to account in list on side. When I click it, it goes to checking writing screen. I just want to stop any check writing alerts for all accounts. Your help is appreciated.
PS Cash is usually associated with an investment or money fund - sold, w/d, misc exp, Xin, Xout.

Can you show us a graphic of that alert? Because I've not previously seen such and I'm unsure what it is. JPG, GIF or other graphic format preferred.

Sounds more like a Memorized or Scheduled transaction than a Quicken Alert. Check those lists.

It sounds like a transaction has been entered with like this:

Chris, You are probably right. The small image of "You have tasked to perform…" is what I see. But don't know which transaction had that, and it could be anywhere over the years. Do you have a shortcut to locate the transaction in question that may have the task icon checked?

The first thing to check is if you have a transaction with the Action of WriteChk.

Also, if you bring up the Reports → Banking → Transactions report the transaction should have "Print" in the Num field.
