Very slow startup and update

For the last week, or maybe a little longer, Quicken takes much longer to startup than it did. I use Quicken every day and I have for many years so I notice these things. What's causing the slow startup? BTW the PC is totally SSD. Update seems slower too, but that's harder to judge.

    @Randy. Are you auto-initiating downloads from your FIs when your startup?

    Have you tried taking a backup and then Validating your Q data file?

    Does any FI(s) seem to take longer than you'd expect? If so, what's your connection method (Direct Connect, EWC, etc) to them?

    And, what Q product are you running and what BUILD of that product? Do HELP, About Quicken for this info.
