Pending Transactions Do Not Clear After Actual Transaction Downloads

My pending transaction list (at the bottom of the register screen) gets bigger and bigger. I have pending transactions from January that just sit there long after the actual transaction has downloaded and cleared.

I'm surprised this issue still persists in this community. Anyway, is it ok to just delete the incorrect pending transaction?

    We appreciate you taking the time to bring this issue to our attention. To better assist you, we’ll need to gather some additional details:

    1. Which financial institution is this account connected to?
    2. Are you experiencing this issue with only one account, or does it affect multiple accounts?
    3. When the transaction clears on the bank’s end, does it download as a cleared transaction while also keeping the pending transaction (causing a duplication), or does the pending transaction remain without ever downloading a cleared version?
    4. Could you please provide a screenshot of what you are seeing? If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
    5. Last, please tell us where your data file is stored. Is it stored on your local hard drive (C: Drive), or in a cloud-based/external drive (e.g.: OneDrive, DropBox, USB, etc.)?

    I think it's safe to say that old, left behind, pending transactions from January can safely be deleted from the Pending Transactions tab.
    In January I also had a few pending transactions left behind immediately after this feature was introduced. I deleted these transactions and they have not occurred again. Recent new transactions come and go as designed.

    So, go ahead, clean up the Downloaded Transactions tab and keep an eye on the situation. If it happens again, call.
