Category for investment account

Hello all

I have a transaction in an investment account in category "Auto". When I run reports this account is included but the expense does not show no matter what I do. I wonder if categories for investment accounts are treated differently and this could be a bug.

TIA

What type of transaction is it - Deposit, Withdraw, WriteChk?

What report are you running that does not show this transaction?

Are you sure the date range for the report includes the transaction date and the Category is included as well as the account?

If you go to Reports > Investing > Investment Transactions with the default settings do you see the transaction there?

    It's a withdraf (wire trasnfer)
I am using a regular spending report for a year

It does show up via Reports > Investing > Investment Transactions

Is the problem report one of the built-in reports from the Reports > Spending menu, or one you have customized and saved? If a built-in report, which one?

It works for me with the Itemized Categories report. Some of the other spending reports do not include investing accounts by default.
