Add new security?

When I try to add GE Healthcare Technologies, Inc. Quicken identifies the ticker (GEHC) but enters MA JAN 19'18 $70 CALL as the company name in the register. Why and how to fix? I've uninstalled/reinstalled quicken Classic Premier Version R61.21, Build 27.1.61.21 and also validated accounts.

OK, problem solved, in addition to the ticker GEHC, there is a ticker GEHC.ZY. Both bring up GE Healthcare Technologie, Inc and when I tried GEHC.ZY, that worked.

I just tried adding GEHC in a test file and I do not see this issue.

How were you adding the security? - Manually, i.e. by typing in the ticker symbol, or was it added via a download? Is the call option something that is already in your Security List Do you see the same problem if you type in "GE Healthcare"

Get to the Security List - ctrl-y.
Make sure the option to Show hidden securities is checked.
Sort the list by symbol (click on the symbol or ticker header).
Review the list to see what securities have the GEHC symbol.
Correct any errors.

If all looks ok at that point, run the File / Validate and repair option to see if that will fix the problem.

First, it did not update (get added to) my securities list when I tried downloading. The Option entry populated the security name when I tried entering the security manually.

The security GE Healthcare Technologies, Inc does not appear in my securities list. When I try to add the security, Quicken brings up the security using GEHC but does not add it to the list. I have validated the file to no avail.

By the way, I randomly selected a different "new" security to add to my list and it populated the list with no problem. It seems this is a GEHC specific issue????
