Mobile quicken changes my budget numbers

Hello,

I stopped using the mobile Quicken a few years back because it would change the budget numbers I had plugged into monthly budget on my desktop.

Since it's been a while since I turned on mobile sync, I thought I would check to see if this issue has been resolved. I couldn't find any posts discussing this matter so thought I'd ask.

I would only use the mobile app when I was traveling and it was nice to stay on top of finances while away, but was not worth it when I would have to painstakingly go through and revise the monthly budgeted numbers to my original amounts.

I wouldn't say the lack of comments on the subject indicates much of anything as far as such a problem being fixed (or not).

None of the SuperUsers will use that feature, and I figure most people that have been burnt by it will stop using it too. And as such they give up on the feature and don't come back to post on it.

That is a long way to say, I doubt anyone can give you a definitive answer on if this feature will muck with your budget or not. It is going to be more like "try it if you dare".

Your comments make sense and since Quicken has never responded, I’m guessing it is still a problem and I’m certainly not going to chance it mucking up my budgets. Since I’ve gotten along for several years without the mobile app, I will do without the app.
It sure seems like something Quicken would have an interest in fixing.

The ironic part of this is that we probably would never know if they did get it fixed.

It is very seldom that people come back and that XXX feature is fixed, unless it is something like a big, long thread where a financial institution downloading problem got fixed. The release notes tend to not be that good at describing such things either.

The other part of this for the budget is that it didn't seem to hit everyone the same, as in some people might get affected on the first sync, and others it might happen over some period of time.
