Merge Accounts? Duplicate

This morning, I received a reconnect 🚫on a few of my accounts. When I reconnected, a second duplicate account showed up. I am wondering if it is because the card was compromised a while back and now doesn't match. I don't want to lose all the data in Quicken from the last several years so how do I merge the two?

Take a backup, just in case, then disconnect both accounts from download.
Move all of the transactions from the new account to the old, being on the lookout for any possible duplication. Do a reconciliation (to the balance shown on the website) to confirm you've deleted any dupes. You don't need to complete the reconciliation, just be sure everything is marked "c" that should be.
Change the account number on the old account to reflect the new account number and connect it for download.
Then, when you've verified that all is well, you can delete that new account.
