Why can't I see any information in Copy or Back Up File Pop Up?

When I go to File: Copy or Back Up File, the first screen that pops up in a 'Complete WHITEOUT' as at a Penn State football game 🤔 Only thing I see is the 3 or so dots on left hand side of Pop Up that should have print indicating what those dots mean; but no, Notta, as in Nothing 😉 The entire screen is PURE, UNADULTERATED WHITE. I'm only guessing, but this might not be a Quicken Problem? I might have accidently hit the wrong button somehow in using my computer that caused this Pop Up to WHITE OUT completely. Odd thing about this, if I continue on and click to make a back-up copy of my Quicken File, the next Pop UP in 'Copy or Back Up File' is completely legible, no problem reading directions on that! WEIRD 🤪 This has been going on now for about a month. I've attempted to adjust my computer screen from light to dark, back and forth numerous times, but that doesn't solve the problem. The appearance of all the other Quicken screens are fine, no problems. Any ideas what could be causing this mysterious malady? 🤣 I'm using Windows 11 Home; Quicken Classic Deluxe, with the latest update.

I have the Quicken Classic Premier version and cannot duplicate your issue.

Sounds like program file corruption. I would try reinstalling the Quicken software.

Thanks @crwalejr , @RalphC for giving your advice on this weird problem I've managed to be infected with concerning Copy or Back-Up File pop-up. I'm going to play around with this a few more days and see if I can find a solution before 'maybe' trying a reinstall. Rather not do that, but if no other solution, might be forced to.

@Palace - Some people never close the Quicken software. Some never shut down their computer. Either one of these things can cause issues with how well Quicken performs. This is especially true after a Quicken version update was done because sometimes a version update did not install completely/correctly. Shutting down Quicken or rebooting the computer can sometimes resolve such issues and can also refresh and free up memory that might have gotten some corruption. If you have not already tried doing it, try rebooting Quicken and/or rebooting your computer before reinstalling the software.

Another option to try: File > Validate and Repair File. V&R can resolve some software issues in addition to data file issues.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, then perhaps downloading and installing the latest Manual Patch Update file (even if it is the same version you are currently running….the current version is R61.21) might resolve the issue. Sometimes the version updates do not install completely/correctly, especially when the Quicken software downloads and installs the version update. Manually downloading and installing the Manual Patch Update file (right over your current installation), IMO, is a more reliable and trouble-free means for updating the software version. This file can be manually downloaded from https://www.quicken.com/support/update-and-patch-20182019-release-quicken-windows-subscription-product/ .

If the installation of the Manual Patch Update does not work, then I would try uninstalling Quicken followed by downloading and installing a fresh file from either your Quicken.com online account or from https://www.quicken.com/activate .

Thanks @Boatnmaniac for suggestions. I do shut down my computer as well as restart it frequently. Also do File > Validate and Repair File often as well. I'll try the patch and later try uninstalling and reinstalling a fresh file a bit later if needed. Think I'll play around with this current Quicken Version I have and see if I can come up with something. Guess what, found another similar glitch 🤔 When I switch to Dashboard View from my Pre-Set Main View Screen noticed this. All the mini-screens (can't remember what you call those), such as Income Expense, Recent Transactions, Net Work, etc. have similar problem. Meaning the 3 tiny dots in upper right hand corner of those mini-screens when clicked on will open as usual for directions to change settings. Guess what though, yep, all of them are TOTAL WHITE-OUTS. If I hover my cursor over them can BARLEY make out the print. On well. Seeming though, all other sections of Quicken Display is correct, at least thus far 😉 Anyway, I can grin and bear this a while longer and see if I can stumble across a solution. Thanks again.

Have you tried adjusting screen brightness and contrast settings to see if that might help?
On my system, these popup menus display correctly on white background with black text and a thin black frame around the popup.
