Vanguard connection limited or not working

My Vanguard accounts are updating in terms of total value which is an improvement, but I'm still not able to get transaction details. If I click on edit of my account is says Vanguard uses "express web connect" which I guess means only basic info. is downloaded / available. It's hard to believe two mega corporations can't work out a way to share info as was provided up until a couple of months ago - before Vanguard "upgrade." Anyone else experiencing problem / advice?? Thanks
