Disabling Quicken Account Login Prompt When Using Desktop Application

How do I disable Quicken pop-up prompts to login to my Quicken account, when I launch my Quicken Classic Deluxe Windows desktop PC application?

This requirement is causing a huge problem for those of us who live in the U.S. and travel internationally, as Quicken detects access from multiple IP address and locks out login to the web application and PC app, due to the login prompt request.

What is the reason that I need to login to my Quicken account, in order to run my Quicken desktop app?

If you were to use a VPN to make it look like you were in the US, you will not have this issue. I run a VPN on my home NAS so that when on travel, everything looks like I am still at home.

Appreciate the post - Once Quicken security detects 'suspicious activity, your account is locked and then the adventure begins. At that point, it doesn't matter what VPN source you're using. What irks me is the repeated messages to change password, with no clue for the user of what actually has happened (account is locked), once they change password and are again denied login. The Quicken security app should send an email or message to confirm login from another location, rather than assume suspicious activity and lock the account. When you then connect with Quicken support after hours working remote, you're told that you need to connect with support again during 'normal business hours' just to escalate the issue. At some point, the ROI using Quicken makes less sense as I'm investing more time in keeping the application up-and-running rather than using it to manage my finances.
