Charles Schwab Bank Transactions Downloading with $0 values

Anyone else experiencing problems with downloaded transactions from Schwab Bank? My transactions are downloaded correctly but all with $0.00 value. This began 3 days ago. Running Quicken Classic on Windows version R62.16 on the latest update yesterday but it didn't clear up the problem.

Same problem here. Any updates on this? How can we get attention focused on this problem?
I should mention that this is only impacting my Schwab Bank checking account. Transactions in brokerage accounts appear to be downloading correctly. But all transactions in my Schwab Bank checking account, while the descriptions are correct, the amounts are all $0.

Same here. First can't download, asked to re-activate the accounts to fix the errors, then downloaded with zero value. Want to update again after delete zero value entries, but nothing updated since Apr 1.

This started happening for me as well today after I needed to re-authorize my Schwab connection.
Disconcerting that this has been going on since 3/2/2025 accord to the title of the community alert you linked @Quicken Anja — is that a typo?

Same experience with me, was required to re-authorize. This cost me a lot of time and there was no pre-warning that this change was coming. Now ongoing I will need to enter all transactions manually, what a waste of time. This is a checking account where I may get 30 to 50 transactions some days. What is the purpose of having Quicken in this case? This brings back nightmares of the recent conversion for Schwab, hopefully we can get this resolved quickly!

Had the same problem so tried to do a restore from a recent backup now my Citi CC accounts and Amex in addition to my Schwab primary checking accounts are giving a error CC-800 and marked with an error icon (red circle with diagonal line) and saying this can happen if you have restored from a backup file. Trying to re add the account(s) fail after attempting to reauthorize sign ins for each respective account. Even tried restoring the quicken date file using Mac Time Machine but same issue. What's going on?

I apologize for the confusion! The date in the Alert has been corrected to 4/2/25.
Thanks for pointing it out!

Same here.
Q Premier 62.14
Quicken Windows Premier (Subscription) - Using the latest version -Windows 11 Pro

Same. Hopefully I didn't make things worse by disconnecting, reconnecting, resetting cloud, et al. I hope the devs are losing sleep trying to resolve this. This is worth a free subscription for a year

Same here. Mac Sequoia 15.1 (24B83). Version 8.1.1 (Build 801.56891.100).
I have to go into each transaction and enter the correct amount. Click through the warning about updating a reconciled transaction.

Same here. I don't intend to reauthorize the Schwab accounts since the brokerage transactions are reported correctly.
Just downloaded R62.16 but the problem was occurring before that too.1 -
I have the same results over the last few days. I've super validated my data and reset the account with no fix. I am currently running R62.16 and the prior release did the same thing for the last few days.

Ok - I am having PTSD. Last summer had an issue with Axos bank that dragged on for MONTHS where I wasn't able to download transactions….I have no idea if it was ever resolved. I finally ended up closing my account and moving to Schwab thinking it was a larger entity and would get higher priority for resolution of things like this….. I guess I was wrong. I work in IT and having an issue like this that drags on for days would be unacceptable…. heads would be rolling. No urgency whatsoever. Am I going to have to change banks again ?

Same here. Zero values but the date and name are correct. Happening only on my Schwab checking account. Investment accounts seem OK.

As we wait for this problem to be resolved, should we be manually correcting the $0 transactions or will Quicken correct it when the problem is resolved? I'd like to clean up my data but I don't want to have to delete a ton of duplicates down the road. Thanks.

I had opened a ticket with Schwab on the 2nd with Technical Support and they are going to try to fix tonight according to Technical Support team. You can call into Schwab Technical Support and talk to them about it.

Issue impacting me as well. I guess we are all in the same boat.
Quicken: please get this fixed ASAP.
When I have an issue with my cell phone or cable, they credit my account. How do I apply for a credit with Quicken for my lost days?

+1 having same issue for last 2+ days
Schwab says it's not their issue — that it's Quicken's to fix.
Quicken please prioritize and fix this.

Schwab says it’s their problem. I have a ticket that I opened two days ago that is associated with the issue and I talked to Schwab today and they said they are rolling out a patch tonight. Let’s hope it works.

Appears to have been resolved now with the exception of transactions from 4/2 not being redownloaded after disconnecting my Schwab accounts both within Quicken and on Schwab's website (Profile→Security Settings→Linked Apps and Websites) so I just added a reconcile adjustment for the discrepancy

I updated my file this morning due to @jasnmoore comment on resolution. I "readded" my account using the "fix it" button on the error. It found my Schwab checking account and the OSU proceeded. It did NOT download any zero cost transactions, but 1) opening balance was changed to some random $11502 number (I could change it to zero and fix the current balance) but 2) I still got both cc-800 and cc-506 from Quicken. I still do not trust this issue is truly closed.
Per previous comments about cc-800 error, I wonder if using the in-error "fix it" won't work and you should just add new account and link to existing (I've seen this solution for cc-800 mentioned before.). Hopefully we can get more people to post their experiences.

Thanks for the updates… Why aren't we getting any updates from Quicken. Very disappointing. I am waiting until we have a more concrete resolution.

The downloads with $0 amounts has stopped.
But, now, I don't get any transactions downloaded. Quicken doesn't show any errors. "Green dot" is there, showing no problems. But there are transactions, I see online in Schwab, that don't get downloaded to Quicken.0 -
Do you have a recent backup before this all started? Restore that, call Quicken on Monday and Schwab Technical support and tell them what is happening.

issue was downloaded $0 balance on transactions.
as of post date/time:
used "edit account …" > online services > reset account
made sure not to add but link existing account.
fixed this issue. opening balance was not changed. (been a problem in the past)
note: schwab has a scheduled maintenance window tonight: "To ensure we’re delivering the best experience possible, we’ll be conducting routine systems maintenance from 8:00 p.m. ET until 10:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 5, 2025. During this time some trading functionality may be intermittently slow or unavailable."

Success! I initially received the connection error then went through the troubleshooter to reactivate my Schwab Accounts. I was able to download transactions for the past day, since I had been downloading the $0 transactions each day. When I received the $0 transactions, I manually added a correct transaction then deleted the $0 downloaded transactions so that they were marked as downloaded. So now that its fixed I avoided having to deal with duplicate transactions. Also did not have a problem with the initial balance being changed like what happened when this problem was first noted.

@Quicken Anja This is not working for me. I still get $0 for the transactions. It seems as if it's not working for everyone.

Hmm… the good news is I am now getting the actual transactions. Bad news, I still get a duplicate showing $0. Is the final fix still outstanding or are we expected to have to delete the $0 duplicate entries to clean up the registers going forward?
