While typing in category name, Quicken offers several suggestions narrow the list with more characters typed. List is down to 4 entries, Quicken highlights one suggestion which is correct. I tab to select the suggestion. But QK fills category with something not in the suggestion list, AND a closed account.
At first I didn't even notice because the transaction view showed only the first 6 characters. It wasn't until I didn't see the transaction in the expected account (category).
Two major issues here with transaction entry: 1) Quicken isn't using the highlight item 2) Quicken blindly uses a CLOSED account.
Anyone else experience this?
P.S. This is just latest in a series of integrity/corruption issues. And yes, have done all the usual File Validate, Super Validate, Copy to new File; have spent many hrs with QK support. Reminders are broken, corrupting split transactions. File Validate persistently reported "fixed reminder" that doesn't exist. Account reconciliation increasingly failing. Longing for the days when QK just worked!!
