Why 2 Vanguard (investor.vanguard.com) Selections?

Using Quicken Classic Premier v 8.1.2 on MacOS Sequoia 15.4
Background: I have used Direct Connect for my Vanguard accounts for years (since 1989) without a download issue. However, this year connection issues have cropped up. I now have them resolved.
Observation: The latest April 2025 issue forced me to reconnect my Vanguard accounts. However, the search for your financial institution lists two investor.vanquard.com entries. The 1st listing allows for "Quicken Connect" or "Direct Connect". The 2nd listing only allows "Quicken Connect".
Question: Why is there 2 selections? This causes confusion on what choice to make and it took me some time to figure which one to select for my detailed tracking purposes.

Request: Clean up the Financial Institution selection box or at least provide some context to multiple selections for which I believe is the same institution. THANK YOU!

I think this issue of multiple connection instances exists for many financial institutions, and it's never been clear to me why multiple instances exist. I am guessing the financial institutions list is managed by Intuit rather than Quicken, but even that doesn't explain why there are multiple instances for a financial institution yet no comment/note to steer users to the correct one. (For instance, if one is for Intuit Quickbooks users and another is for Quicken users, any isn't that displayed in some way?)
