Gain/Loss (%) period totals are incorrect in Investing Tab [edited]

In the portfolio view on the investing tab I have noticed that the Gain/Loss % totals are incorrect specifically for month & 12 month. I first noticed this when I had all my accounts enabled, so I made a view with only one account and the problem still exists. In the attached screenshot, you can see that the Gain/Loss % Totals for month & 12-Month do not match the actual percentages (which seem to be correct) for the displayed account. I have tried with multiple accounts and they all seem to exhibit this behavior. I have also experimented with moving the reporting dates around which doesn't fix the issue either. Have others seen this?

As an update to this, I customized the view to de-select all securities which seems like it should return zero for everything, but the totals are still incorrect.

I see the same issue. For some reason the Gain/Loss (%) XXX totals for at the bottom change if you select different accounts or different As of dates but do not change if you select different securities or none at all.
The Gain/Loss (%) without a time period, which is calculated since the initial purchase of the security, appears to be calculated correctly.

I did a simple test and it appears that the Gain or loss for a period is Starting shares x (ending share price - starting share price) as in the referenced discussion above.
It looks like the Gain/loss (%) for the period is ((Gain or loss) / (starting market value + net cash added)). This is reasonable.
[Further observations]
If there are no transactions in the period, the Gain/loss (%) XXX totals at the bottom agree with the account or security totals above.
However if cash is added to the account and shares purchased during the period, it appears that the totals at the bottom are incorrect, they do not properly account for cash or shares added or removed. It appears that the formula for the total percentage at the bottom is (ending market value - starting market value) / starting market value.
Also the totals appear to be computed for all the securities in the selected accounts regardless of which securities are selected.
I edited the title of this discussion to clarify the issue
