Manually match Screen - Payee Column unreadable.

Hi
I've noticed at some update, the manually match screen has become almost impossible to match transactions because of the column sizes.
When I try to match manually, the payee columns only displays 6 characters making it useless. (see attachment)
I reached out to support but they said it would be fixed "sometime" but in the meanwhile, I really cant manually match transactions.
Wondering if anyone has found a workaround ?

Hello @REvelyn01,
Thanks for reaching out to tell us about this issue!
To better assist you, could you please provide the following details?
- Where is your Quicken data file stored? Is it on your local hard drive (C: Drive) or a cloud-based/external drive (e.g.: OneDrive, DropBox, USB, etc.)?
- Have you attempted any troubleshooting steps so far? If so, what were they?
- When did this issue first start occurring?
- Were there any significant changes to your system or software before the issue began (updates, new installations, etc.)?
- When did you contact Quicken Support, and were you provided with a ticket number you can share with us?
Looking forward to your response!

Hi,
I did contact support on this issue last week. I was not given any case number. I was told they would fix in a future release potentially. I felt as though, the person didnt really open a ticket for this.
The data file is stored locally on my hard drive and backed up to OneDrive.
The support agent had me install older updates but to no avail. I am back on the latest update. 62.16
The small payee field size has always been an issue. I have reported it a couple of times. However, in some maintenance level, the payee field has gotten so small I am unable to find matching entries.
No updates to system.
As I mentioned earlier, this small payee field has been around for at least a year but I have always been able to see enough of the payee field to make the match. Now the payee is so small (see attached) I can not, in most cases, do a manual match. The field only shows about 6 characters of the payee information.
Now I just have to "accept all" and manually goback and delete any duplicate item.

Hello @REvelyn01,
Thanks for the added info and the screenshot—super helpful.
Just to narrow things down a bit more, can you let me know:
- What screen resolution and display scaling (DPI) settings are you currently using in Windows?
- Are you using multiple monitors, and if so, does the issue persist if you only use your primary display?
- Have you tried temporarily adjusting your Windows display scaling (e.g., setting it to 100%) to see if the Payee column expands?
Also, just to confirm, does this issue happen in all registers when manually matching or only in specific accounts?
Appreciate you bearing with us while we dig into this!

I only experience with the manual match screen. I only have 1 account.
I just set the resolution to 100% and will have to see what happens at the tomorrow when I have something new come through.

@REvelyn01 - I think this issue is with Quicken's programming and has nothing to do with your screen resolution? I think what is happening is that when you have multiple match items in the list like you do, a leftmost column of check boxes gets added and shifts the other columns over to the right. The problem is that when this happens, the columns that are shifted don't resize to fit the contents. Here is a screen print of a list without the checkboxes and you will see the columns are sized properly.
Compare it to your screen print and you will see the leftmost column of checkboxes and the other columns shifted over.

@REvelyn01 once I get some downloaded transactions, I can test this theory and circle back.

@REvelyn01 - I was able to download some transactions and then open the Manual Match window. My columns still looks a bit different than yours -
The columns shifted over to the right but they have resized and are wide enough to read the contents. I pasted your Manually Match window here for reference.
Not only are your column widths "wonky" but it also looks like you are missing the most of the Deposit column.
Your Quicken is on the latest release R62.16, and so is mine. So that can't be the issue. I am mystified why the difference in the "Manual Match" windows.
That all being said, I think it could be a resolution issue after all as @Quicken Jasmine suggested.
I have my Scale set to 150% (which is the default) and I noticed that on your screenshot yours is at 125%. I also noticed that you need to reboot your computer for the Scale settings to be applicable for all your programs on your computer.
See what happens tomorrow with your Scale set at 100%. Hopefully changing the Scale can at least help you better read the screen. Just remember to reboot your computer each time you change the Scale setting.

I have my scale set at 125%. When I set the scale to 100% the columns are displayed correctly. However, everything else I use is too small for me to work with. It appears that the scale is causing the issue, at least in my case, why would that be ? Is there a fix to the issue.
If the columns were sizable like the other registers, this wouldn't be such a problem.
