Starting last Thursday 04/10/2025 Merrill Edge downloads (brokerage and IRA accounts) have been failing with error 2000. I have been using Quicken on Mac for years successfully.
I have to go through the process of logging into Merrill and will immediately get the prompt to confirm and allow Quicken downloads. I have 10 minutes to initiate a download which I do and everything then works fine. On Friday I attempt to download Merrill Edge transactions and again experience the same problem. Repeat process above to correct and everything downloads fine. Same issue again over the weekend and again this morning. It should also be noted that after about 6 hours or so on the same day after correcting the problem the error occurs again when initiating a new download. I have reported the issue to Merrill.
Running Quicken Version 7.10.1 (Build 710.55389.100) on Big Sur Version 7.10.1. It should be noted I know I'm not running the latest version of Quicken for Mac or Mac OS but my 27" iMac running Big Sur runs as good as the day I bought it 10 years ago. Only change was to update the old platter based hard drive with a SSHD drive.
