What is the source of the amount shown in the bottom of a date in Bill & Income

I am trying to set up projected balances in the my checking account by loading in my regular bills and income into Quicken. When I view the Bills & Income/ Income & Transfer tab within the calendar view, each date contains an amount in the lower right hand corner. What is this amount and what is the source data for it? Please see the screen shot below showing this amount.

If you select "Show Full Calendar" you will get a calendar where you can control which accounts are used for that daily total (Under "Options").

That total amount in your Bills & Income tab / Calendar view is supposed to be the sum of the daily account balance of all your accounts in the Banking section of the Accounts sidebar.

And, no, there is no customization option to select/deselect accounts from the list.
