Quicken Bank Reconciliation

In the past I have had problems with Quicken dropping transactions that were previously reconciled. Now I have a new problem. Quicken shows my bank account as reconciled (cleared transactions = statement balance). However, it shows 4 transactions over the past 14 months as outstanding although these transactions have cleared long ago. All are payments on credit cards which had to be manually reentered in the past (after dropping out). These transactions are also listed at the bottom of the Quicken register dated 12/31/25 and being grayed out. This bank account has been reconciled monthly without a problem until the new problem sited above. If I clear the transactions, the account will no longer reconcile per quicken. How can this be fixed?

To help troubleshoot this further, I have a few questions:

• When you say the transactions are listed at the bottom of the register dated 12/31/25, were they originally entered on that date, or were they re-dated after being reentered manually?
• Are the grayed-out transactions marked as reconciled (R) or cleared (C)?
• If you open the reconciliation window, do these transactions appear in the list of outstanding items, or are they showing only in the register?
• Have you verified that there are no duplicates or slightly altered versions of these same transactions (e.g., different payee, amount, or date) that might be affecting reconciliation?
• Also, just to confirm—are you syncing your data with the Quicken Cloud or using mobile/web? Sometimes sync conflicts can lead to dropped or altered transactions.
