Manual entries:

How to take a CSV file and import it into a Manual account to Quicken?

I have a account that I download my transactions from and convert to CSV. I then choose the account by highlighting it and I import it in.

  1. It shows transactions with Zeros.

How to make sure the correct amount is coming in from CSV?

Please see this Quicken Support article about importing a .csv file. Your file must be in the exact format specified — fields in the correct order and with the header row fields — or it will not import successfully.

Because this manual process can be time-consuming and error-prone, check to make sure your bank does not offer a download in QFX (or "Quicken") format; such a file would import directly into Quicken Mac without any manipulation.

Thanks, yes the banks do not allow the QFX version. I searched articles for the title and found: exporting, a artcle on IMport that says to do certain categories but no help on names and how to.

@Es Jee Sorry my paste of the link apparently got gobbled up by the text editor. Here it is:
