The "Membership Expired" message is ok for a while, but it takes up valuable screen space. Please remove this message.

You're not making any friends with such an annoying message. Believe me!

This has been requested many times over the years but Quicken has said they will not do that. Originally they were planning to do what most companies do when a software subscription expires….make the software non-functional (I think it would remain read-only). But they finally agreed to make the software manually usable but with no online services available (i.e., no downloading/importing, no stock price updates, no software updates, no Zillow updates, etc.). However, there will be these banners reminding us to resubscribe when our subscription has expired and the only way to remove those banners is by resubscribing.

I can't speak for Quicken but I'm pretty sure they view Quicken users who have stopped subscribing as having stopped being a "friend" to Quicken. So, why should they do something for ex-customers who won't resubscribe? If you want them to be your "friend", again, you will need to be their "friend", again, by renewing your subscription and being a paying customer.

This is not a "friend" relationship. It's buyer/seller or provider/user.

If I stopped paying my annual homeowner insurance, they would drop me.
