How to Get Tax Planner to Use Schedule Transactions instead of YTD Average

The Tax Planner works great once I change my royalty income from YTD Average to Scheduled Transactions but I cannot get the Tax Planner to stay on Scheduled Tranactions. It always reverts to YTD Average and is therefore always wrong. How to I get my changes to stick?

Sometimes the Tax Planner is finicky about remembering your settings. I assume the scheduled transactions are listed at the bottom of the detail section.

Try changing the selection from Quicken Data to User Entered and back, then selecting Scheduled Bills and Deposits.

Also I sometimes find that after a scheduled transaction is accepted and entered in your Register, the setting changes at the bottom and I must re-select it by switching it to User Entered and back.

Note: To check if a setting has changed, I write down the payment or refund due and before using the Tax Planner I check to see if it has changed significantly since last time. If so, I look through the settings to see what has changed.
