Quicken Online Backup Fails

I have been a Quicken user since the late 90s. My current version of Quicken is R62.16, Build is 27.1.62.16.

Up until last weekend, I stored my Quicken backups in my online Dropbox account. I decided to subscribe to Quicken Online Backup.

100% of the backup attempts have ended with failure. I have no idea why. I have sufficient connectivity and internet speed, I am following the instructions, and it still fails. The progress meter gets to roughly 37% and then fails, and the not-detailed message says "There was an error creating the online backup - No Online Backup Found."

Please advise potential solutions, otherwise I will cancel the subscription and return to my previous backup method.

Thanks, Todd

If you haven't done so already, please contact Quicken Support on the phone during posted hours of operation and let them research the issue.

For refunds or cancelling subscriptions either for Online Backup or for Quicken software you also need to call Support. They are the only ones with the necessary access to make any changes.

Reading a bit about Online Backup and saw this… worth reading:

Quicken's online backup is the easiest & most secure way to back up your Quicken data files online. While we encourage you to continue making local backups, this additional storage location helps prevent data loss in situations such as a missing/inoperable computer or other data loss situations.

Windows 11 (2 separate computers)..... Quicken Premier.. HAVE USED QUICKEN CONTINUOUSLY SINCE 1985.

Is your Quicken file still in the folder synced (backed up) by Dropbox? If so, try moving the file to another folder (not backed up by Dropbox (or OneDrive, Google Drive, etc.).
