Has anyone actually gotten any help from the Quicken Support on bank downloads?

Again, all my bank transactions from 4/7/25 through 5/7/25 are messed up using quicken download. I have sent literally hours with phone support and have gotten nowhere. They won't even admit there is a Quicken problem. If they won't even acknowledge a problem, how can they fix it. My thought is they probably can't - spending too much time trying to develop new programs to bring in more investment customers and have forgotten about the folks that got them here. Are you listening Quicken?

    Are you listening Quicken?

Not here, really. This is a "community forum" with primarily fellow Quicken users (like me) trying to help each other out. There are a handful of Quicken moderators who keep the site organized and answer some questions, but they are not Quicken Support — and definitely not Quicken management.

I'm not sure what you're referring to here. Investment customers? Quicken Mac has had only a few small new investment features added in the past couple years (although more are promised for the future). Quicken's newest product is LifeHub, which is a documents and contacts organizer and isn't oriented around investments. The only other "new" product — which is now five years old — is Simplifi, a product which is aimed at younger users and those who want their finances in the cloud without any desktop program. (But also not aimed at pulling in investment customers.)

I don't know what your specific problems are with downloads from the past month — which financial institution(s), what connection method(s), what went wrong. In general, I can say that at any given time, there are always some financial institutions which have different sorts of connectivity issue. Almost all of these are caused by financial institutions making changes to their servers which break Quicken's connectivity or downloads. Quicken employs a third party, Intuit, to handle all its connectivity, so they are at the mercy of Intuit to either make code changes to catch up to whatever the financial institutions changed, or to reach out to the financial institutions to get them to make additional changes to allow Quicken to re-connect or resume downloads. And that process or troubleshooting and fixes by multiple parties often takes weeks, and sometime longer, because Quicken connectivity is a low priority for many financial institution IT departments. And Quicken is quite often a bystander in all of this, because there's nothing they can, or even need to, fix; the fix needs to happen at the financial institution's and or Intuit's servers.

Since your problems are contained within the past month, how many transactions are involved? Unless you have many hundreds or thousands of transactions in a month, you may find it's faster and less stressful to manually enter/edit the problematic transactions for the month to get you back to where you should be. Then you can see if the issue is fixed for new transactions.

I'm sorry; I know you're frustrated. Sometimes it helps to take a step back and focus on an alternate path to get past/around the problem rather than having increasing frustration with what "should" be working. Best wishes.

I cannot connect to synchrony credit cards. I contacted Quicken and Synchrony. they each referr me to the other. The only account they could help me with is my ABT Synchrony Accont. Synchrony stated that because that is a 'real credit card.' Not much luck with my 'Sleep Number' or 'My Lowe's' account.

    Get together Quicken and Synchrony!
