How to create and manage Emergency Fund?

I start with the report at Reports > Investing > Portfolio Value. De-selecting No Security (includes Cash) makes all the -Cash- Lines disappear for me.
Where exactly do you see it not working?

The cash lines disappear for me as well, except for investment accounts that were created as non-investment accounts and the Account Intent was changed to "Investment".

As I posted screen shot the -Cash- is shown for the Investment Brokerage Schwab account regardless of unselect the "No Security (includes Cash)". This De-select actually removes all other accounts from the report, those accounts were shown the -Cash- only, there are no Security with the "Emerging Fund" Goal for those extra accounts.
Yes, I tried many time to select and de-select, but it just isn't going away for me for this Report type.
I also mentioned that this de-select will require for me manually to add all new future Security, a bit of inconvenience.
I don't understand why this -Cash- comes in the report when it isn't has the "Emerging Fund" Goal? The report has to be filtered for this Goal only and nothing extra IMHO.

@mikek753b from my own experience, cash has always been an issue with investment reporting. It seems like the default is to show cash, and it is sometimes not possible to exclude it.
But there is something else you can try, if you haven't done so already. Try excluding securities with no security type and see if that removes the cash.

@mikek753b I think that Schwab accounts on Quicken treat or represent cash a bit differently so I don't know if this is what's causing the cash to not be suppressible? I don't know enough about it to be certain.

I had an hour call with Quicken Tech Support and my reporting "-Cash-" issues was addressed.
I also created upon Tech Support new idea , pls. vote for it.
The unexpected "-Cash-" issue was due to Split Transaction in this Schwab Investment (Cash) account.
The transfer was from another Investment account that doesn't have "Show cash in a checking account".
The fix was to remove that Split transaction, original gets XIn and 2 extra rows to pay Fed and CA taxes, where that source account just set single XOut.
New 2 Transactions were created in the source account, the Split for pay Fed and CA taxes, and simple XOut to this Schwab (Cash) account.
I can't say if that is limitation for Investment (Cash) account to not understand a Split or something else.
So, I have my new Report where "Include all securities" is selected, so any new Security (TBill) will be auto added.
Thank you again for all your help.

@mikek753b glad you got it to work out. I honestly thought it couldn't be done.
That issue with cash not being able to be suppressed is certainly a bug and that workaround isn't always feasible if you have a lot of split transactions that involve cash.

unfortunately I agree with you.
This is related how Investment account is processed by Quicken, looks like Quicken doesn't like any Split transactions at all.
My workaround only works due to the split was moved to another Investment account that I don't need to be part of the report.
