I have been unable to add Amazon store card to quicken for the past couple of months.

It seems there are a lot of users with this problem.

Quicken support is unable to find a solution, so I am asking the community for help

    Hello @tlrsr1,

Thanks for reaching out to tell us about this issue!

To better assist you, could you please elaborate a bit on what exactly is happening when you try to add the Amazon Store Card? Are you receiving an error message or code? Or does something else occur during the process?

The more details you can provide, the better we can help troubleshoot the issue.

    Looking forward to your response!

I have the same problem. I was downloading transactions until March, but then the account disappeared from one-step update and I can't add it back. It says my username/password is wrong, but I'm certain it's correct. I can log into the bank site directly.

    Hello @Permutations,

Thank you for letting us know you're having trouble connecting your Amazon Card. To help troubleshoot, I checked on our end to see if there was anything that would shed light on the issue. I can see you've been getting an invalid credentials error when trying to connect to Synchrony Bank Credit Cards. Is that the connection option you are trying to use to connect your Amazon Store Card?

If it is, then I recommend that you backup your Quicken file, then navigate to Tools>Add Account, and try connecting the account using the Amazon.com Store Care - Synchrony option.

To avoid having a duplicate account in your Quicken file, please make sure to carefully link the account to the correct nickname in Quicken.

    I hope this helps!

The login credentials work when I do it that way, but it doesn't let me link to my existing account. I have years of data in Quicken already for this account (since 2012).

I have two Synchrony cards: Amazon and CareCredit. It finds them both. The problem is in the screenshot. The name of my existing Amazon account is "Amazon Store Card", which is not listed as an option. It was correctly created as a credit card account. One-step update for this account worked fine until the end of March.

It's working now. I thought I'd deactivated the Amazon Store Card, but I hadn't. Once I deactivated it, the account was located and it's downloading transactions again.
