Two quicken accounts, one AMEX login - have to reconnect every time

Hi, I use Quicken for Mac.
I have two quicken accounts — one for personal and one for a rental business.
I have one AMEX card that I use for personal. I have another AMEX card that I use for business. I use the same AMEX login for both AMEX cards.
When I update accounts on my personal Quicken account, the AMEX card will not update if I had recently reconnected the other AMEX card on my business Quicken account.
The opposite is also true, When I update accounts on my business Quicken account, the AMEX card will not update if I had recently reconnected the other AMEX card on my personal Quicken account.
This is a recent problem (within the last 3-4 months). Any recommendations on how to fix this so that I don't have reauthorize my AMEX connections every time I try to update?

Have you tried deactivating both accounts and then after both are deactivated do the reauthorization process, again? I would think that the reauthorization process would then allow you to set up both accounts at the same time.

Thanks! I'll give that a shot… I'll deactivate both connection accounts and then try to reconnect to both… I'll check back in with an update.

I tried that… continue to have the same problem. I went to each of the two quicken accounts went to downloads and disconnected both of them. Then I went back into each account and reconnected them. A few days later, I tried to do the normal all account update and on one of my quicken accounts, it could not connect to the AMEX account and did not update it. Any other ideas?

I have my own Amex card, and a secondary card on my spouse's Amex. When I set up the latter a few months ago, there was a Quicken option for an American Express - Delegate account, which I used. This worked just fine until the last week or so when I started to get a request to revalidate (via text or email) each time I do a Quicken update. Still working on that problem, which is why I'm in the Community today and saw your issue.
