one step update won't apply update "all"

Over a year ago I one time used one step update to only update quotes. Since then I have been unable to switch it back to default to update all accounts. I have to go into settings, check "all", it then updates all accounts. But the next time I run update it's back to only updating quotes. I check "apply" every time but nothing changes. I have to go into the settings every time I run update and check the "all" box. Every. Time. Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm not convinced that all the steps were necessary, but it did fix the issue. One thing to be aware of is that you end up with a file named QDATACpy, which you will need to rename if you want to continue with a file named QDATA you need to rename. The process also left files qdatacpy_SyncLog.dat, qdatacpy_SyncLog1.dat, and QDATACPYOFXLOG.DAT on disk which I renamed when I renamed QDATACpy. I don't know if this was necessary. I suggest that @CaliQkn add that step to the process.

There is also a ZIP file Sanitized_QDATA.zip which I do not know if I need to do something with.

@Randy Wawrzyniak-Fry thank you for the feedback. When you make a data file copy, the default name has "cpy" attached to it, but you can rename it to whatever you want before the copy is made. I sometimes forget to note that. Sorry about that.

The other .dat files can be left "as-is". New ones are created once you rename your data file.

As for the "Sanitized _QDATA.zip", I don't think that was created as a part of any troubleshooting for this issue. It may have been created when you sent a "Report a problem" to Quicken Customer Support?

Thinking back on it, you're probably right about the "Sanitized _QDATA.zip" file. It has the same date, but as I look at it, it was earlier in the day. I think I started a Report a Problem on another issue and then bailed out.

I didn't know if those other files would be created, so I thought I'd mention it just in case.

    Thanks

@Randy Wawrzyniak-Fry if you no longer need that zip file, you can safely just delete it.
